Author Statement and Bio:
This piece was finger painted using cement stucco, crack texture, molding paste, illuminating gel and acrylic paint. It relates to the theme of this publication because it is my interpretation of masking true emotions and prejudices.

Sabrina Jovic is originally from Canada. She has struggled with mental illness for over 20 years. She finds peace of mind in creating art through mixed media, music and writing. She has had several works exhibited in Ontario, published in Beyond Words Literary and is a frequent contributor to Open Minds Magazine.
