In Jerusalem and Jenin
spontaneous dancing
erupts in the teeming streets even as we speak!

In Ramallah they distribute sweets;
horns blare throughout Tel Aviv;
rabbis and imams rejoice with circling horas!

Already Hamitic mosques
were seen making love
to Semitic synagogues right out in the open!

Now Stars of David spoon
with swooning crescent moons
while Eleazars kiss Aishas in public squares!

Never did we think
we would live to see the day
when heaven itself belches a belated Amen!
