MY BAKING PAN
A heart like an aluminium pan,
A little dented,
A little out of shape.
Not broken,
No holes,
Just bent.
My pan and I,
We are many years old,
But we're still here.
Careworn, weatherbeaten,
Our looks are gone.
But well-seasoned and capable,
We do the job,
And we do it well.
