“House with Clouds” Christopher Woods, 2026

Artist’s Statement:

I suppose both visual images comment on the peace of having a home, no matter how simple. I intended for “House with Clouds” to suggest a dreamlike place.  “House, Yellow Sky” is intended to provide a peaceful aura, perhaps in a magical way. But intentions are one thing. What viewers see quite another.Christopher Woods is a writer and photographer who lives in Texas. His monologue show, Twelve from Texas, was performed in NYC by Equity Library Theatre. His monologues have been performed most recently at Equity Library Theatre in NYC, The Invisible Theatre in Tucson and the Pro English Theatre in Kiev, Ukraine. He has received residencies from The Edward Albee Foundation and The Ucross Foundation.
