No Doubt

No doubt, there are places
where people live longer
than trees, and places where
it rains more than people cry.
No doubt, it is raining hard
somewhere. There are places
where birds cannot fly and
if they tried they would die.
These are sad places and
this is something to think
about. This is your thought
for the day. Follow me
and I will count your steps.
I will follow you. There are

Light Goes into the Shadows

The light goes
into the shadows
where it cannot
be seen and pawed.
It likes it there
better than here,
so inconspicuous
for part of the day.
It is not about
good or bad.
Light goes to
be at peace
for only few hours
or it will go mad.
